‘waiting in the wings

video documentation of my solo show 'waiting in the wings’, installed in Tactic Gallery Cork.
This work is composed of glass sheets in-line and in-between rows of fluorescent bulbs. What occurs between these composed elements is an extracted condition of a historical theatre effect, popularised by John Pepper in the mid 1800s. A calculation of the properties of the exhibition materials and their roles within the perimeter of the space is at play.
